Wendy & Shamus’s New York Central Park Elopement at Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge

It’s hard to think of a better fall wedding backdrop than natural beauty, with the trees changing color from green to bursts of red and orange. And for their big day, Wendy and Shamus agreed: a New York Central Park elopement was exactly their vision for a classy, intimate day.
The pair traveled from upstate New York to have their ceremony at Manhattan City Hall with immediate family. Afterward, we headed to Central Park, specifically making stops at Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace and The Mall, some of the most scenic locations in the area. Despite the November chill and the looming threat of rainclouds, it turned out to be a perfect combination of autumnal colors and iconic architecture. And the best way to cap the day? A late lunch toast with signature cocktails.
Congrats to the newlyweds!
