John and John’s Gay New York City Hall Wedding, featured on A Practical Wedding!

Having a stylish gay New York City Hall wedding was on the agenda for John and John (yes, their real names), who were eloping from the UK. They sent me a few emails asking how certain colors would photograph,  and when I finally met them face-to-face at the Marriage Bureau, their attire did not disappoint: boldly patterned jackets, autumnal-tinged boutineers and matching white Converse suited their playful personalities to a T. The couple was all smiles for their  “I dos,” and afterward we headed across the Brooklyn Bridge into Dumbo to catch clear views of the Manhattan skyline. And, what more NYC-appropriate way than to seal the deal than split a street pretzel to seal the deal?
