Cop Cot Wedding in NYC Central Park | Jessica & Kris

- CEREMONY:COP COT
- PORTRAITS:CAMPBELL BAR
- PHOTOGRAPHER:EVERLY STUDIOS
“I love weddings, but dislike cliches,” Jessica wrote in her initial email to me. “The theme of our planning so far has been, ‘Who cares about what other people think – let’s do what we want!’” From that moment, I was sold. Jessica and Kris planned their Cop Cot wedding in Central Park exactly to their personal taste: small, romantic, with their own personal flair (shout-out to the committed family member for lugging four volumes of Harry Potter to the park to use as props!) and DIY touches (mother of the bride has some crazy floral skills!).
We started their wedding day at Campbell Bar for some champagne — a move I highly recommend, just to have a quiet moment for yourselves before the celebration begins. After a quick cab ride to Central Park, the wedding unfolded exactly as planned: acoustic guitar, handwritten vows, and a ribbon-and-bell wedding send-off. The day was perfectly unfussy, definitely personal, and, yep, exactly what the bride and groom wanted.
Congrats to the couple!
