If you’re thinking of a small Cop Cot wedding in Central Park, time to take some notes from Kavisha and Hamish’s elopement. Rather than having a big, fat Indian wedding back home in London, the pair craved something more intimate and simple. As regular visitors to New York, they loved the lushness of Central Park in the springtime, and chose Cop Cot as their wedding venue, with vines and greenery growing over the canopy.
The pair said their vows with a few select friends as witnesses, then made a few stops around town to round out their day. First, a trip to Campbell Bar to celebrate their newlywed status with some old fashioneds. Later, we headed to Brooklyn Bridge Park for a carousel ride, stroll along the promenade and wander through DUMBO. Though we covered a lot of ground, it was relaxed, simple and 100% them. A picture-perfect NYC elopement? I’d say so.
