Mary and Alfonso’s Nomad Hotel Rooftop Wedding

For Mary and Alfonso, it wasn’t enough to elope from their hometown of Sydney, Australia to New York City — they had to bring their 40 closest friends and family members with them. Despite scattered rain showers, the pair wed in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi Church, then took portraits at Grand Central taking over the Nomad Hotel rooftop for the rest of the night. Powered by a full raw bar, a four-layer naked wedding cake, plenty of old school hip-hop and a view of the Empire State Building, the pair celebrated the biggest night of their life on top of the world.
