On a chilly November morning, I trooped over the to the Upper East Side to find Karen madly putting together the finishing touches for her son Aiden’s first birthday party. The tables still needed to be set! The Polaroids hung! The cookies and cupcakes arranged just-so! I put down my camera to blow up balloons. But in the end, with guests and their kids trickling in for Aiden’s shin-dig, everything was picture-perfect for this candy-colored kids birthday party at Sprinkles Cupcakes.
