It truly was a 180-degree detour from that “quiet Ladies Pavilion wedding” they had described to me.

“I thought you guys wanted something low-key…?” I asked.

Accessibility from the street. Ladies Pavilion is relatively easy to reach, even for people with mobility issues, but it does involve about a 10 minute walk through the park from the street. Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you’re also doing a photo session.
A good rain option for smaller groups. Ladies Pavilion has a roof that will easily shelter a group of about 8 people, so even if it’s rainy, you (and a small amount of guests) can stay dry inside.
