Rebecca and Jeff’s New York Pizza Party Wedding

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from photographing City Hall weddings, it’s that there’s no limit to how you can personalize them.

New Yorkers Rebecca and Jeff were both looking for a wedding that was “low key and romantic and fun that feels like us.” Translation: an intimate ceremony at City Hall, pitstop at the bride’s mother’s home for a champagne toast and cuddle with their dog, and then head on over to their neighborhood slice joint, the legendary Joe’s on Bleecker Street, for a pepperoni pie — complete with “cake” topper, of course. Top it off with carving their names for eternity into the wooden booth with a butter knife (a 100% restaurant-sanctioned activity), and you’ve got a New York pizza party wedding to remember.
