Grand Central Engagement Photo Session

When Julie emailed me, she knew exactly what she wanted: a Grand Central New York engagement photo session. For most New Yorkers, this statement would cause them to break out into cold sweats. Typically, Grand Central is a nightmare of foot traffic that one tries to avoid at all costs. However, I love Grand Central — yes, it’s a train station, but it’s also a national historic landmark.

The main concourse has beautiful old-school ticket booths, a far cry from subway ticket vending machines. The ceiling is an elaborately painted constellation. Golden chandeliers hang from vaulted ceilings. Truly, the architecture is beautiful.

So add in a modern-day couple with a little rock-n-roll edge? Be still my heart.
