Bacchus Bistro Wedding in Brooklyn | Anastasia & Feliks

Anastasia and Feliks’s Bacchus Bistro wedding was exactly the kind of small NYC wedding that every budget-conscious couple dreams of. Even with Covid-19 lingering, it was important for them to have family and friends be a part of their wedding, so they planned a garden-themed Brooklyn restaurant wedding at Bacchus.
While the couple wanted a simple ceremony, they also wanted one filled with culture and family. Almost everything was DIY or made by loved ones: plants and grocery-store floral arrangements were brought in to mimic the nature that the couple loves, the bride’s brother acted as wedding officiant, and the groom’s sisters made traditional Russian treats for dessert. Moreover, the couple’s attire was based on looks and comfort: a simple textured dress for the bride, a linen shirt and slacks for the groom, and hats for some serious Brooklyn style.
Despite needing to wear face masks, the couple shared laughs, traded vows, and had their first dance right in the middle of the outdoor terrace as friends and family surrounded them. Save running across a weeks-old puppy when we stole away for some neighborhood portraits, I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate and have a joyful evening.
